Offline-First Hospital Information System

A LAN-based HMIS that keeps OPD, pharmacy, lab and billing running without internet.

The challenge

Hospitals with unreliable connectivity needed patient records, appointments, billing and inventory to keep working — and to stay in sync between departments.

The solution

A Java desktop HMIS working over the local network with a Node.js + MySQL back end, sharing data in real time between departments, with AI-assisted clinical decision support.

What was built

• Patient records, appointments, billing and inventory
• Real-time LAN data sharing across OPD, pharmacy, lab and billing
• AI-assisted clinical suggestions

Outcome

• Deployed at two hospitals in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
