Lend & Borrow Ledger App

A cross-platform app to track money lent and borrowed, person by person.

The challenge

Keeping track of informal loans between people usually lives in chat history and memory.

The solution

A Flutter app for Android, iOS and the web with per-person ledgers, full transaction history and running balances, built entirely on Firebase’s free tier.

What was built

• Contacts with country-coded phone numbers
• Per-person transaction history with date, time and purpose
• Google and email/password sign-in

Outcome

• One codebase shipping to Android, iOS and the web
