MT5 Bridge & Event Streaming
Connecting multiple brokers’ MT5 servers to Node.js services over Kafka.
Role: Integration owner
The challenge
Several brokers’ MetaTrader 5 servers had to feed accounts, trades and balances into a Node.js platform reliably, from Windows hosts into a Linux back end.
The solution
A .NET bridge running on Windows publishes MT5 events to Kafka on an Ubuntu server, decoupling the trading servers from every downstream service — CRM, RMS, copy trading, prop challenges and the payment gateway.
What was built
- Kafka topics as the contract between MT5 and the platform
- Bridge instances per broker, consolidating towards a single host
- Shared by CRM, RMS, copy-trading, prop-firm and payment services
Outcome
- One integration point for every trading product
- Services scale and deploy independently of MT5 hosts
Technology
.NET, C#, Kafka, MT5, Node.js, Ubuntu, Windows Server
